Williamson came out on top against Monroe County on Wednesday thanks in part to Tyler Gaines's efforts. Gaines scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Williamson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-8 otherwise.
