Swan Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Heritage Hawks. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Mia Robinson made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
In other batting news, Izzy Coffel was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Greer Diefenbach also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
