Mary Persons will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Mary Persons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Crisp County on the road to the tune of 68-20. That 68-20 margin sets a new team best for Mary Persons this season.
Mary Persons' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wilson, who scored 18 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wilson has scored at least 25% of Mary Persons' points. Anaja Lucear was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Locust Grove's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Union Grove, falling 69-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Locust Grove has scored all season.
Mary Persons is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Locust Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
