The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Idaho City is ranked 135th, while Wilder is ranked 130th).
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Idaho City, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-42 loss to Vision.
Wilder suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were beaten by Liberty Charter 54-18. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wilder in their matchups with Liberty Charter: they've now lost nine in a row.
Idaho City dropped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wilder, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Idaho City came out on top in a nail-biter against Wilder in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, sneaking past 38-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Idaho City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
