The Leon Cougars lost against the Teague Lions back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Leon had to suffer through a rough 66-39 loss at the hands of Teague. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Leon in their matchups with Teague: they've now lost five in a row.
Tylin Randle was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jehmel Rice, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
Leon has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Teague, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Leon will look to defend their home court on Friday against New Waverly at 10:00 a.m. As for Teague, they will square off against Crandall at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
