The Stockbridge Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. The contest between Stockbridge and Fowler wasn't particularly close, with Stockbridge falling 47-33. Stockbridge lost against Fowler in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-37 score last time.
Alaina Kellenberger and Taylor Lockhart certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Kellenberger dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Lockhart scored two points along with five rebounds. Kellenberger is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Stockbridge has fallen quite a ways from their 17-7 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Fowler, their win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.
Stockbridge will take on Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fowler, they will head out on the road to face off against Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
