 At the plate, Lemont let  Raegan Duncan and  Avaree Taylor loose on the outfield. Duncan  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Taylor  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Duncan has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times she's  played.  Jessica Pontrelli was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 The  victory (which was Lemont's eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-10. As for Oak Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 27-7.
 Lemont will face off against Pontiac at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Pontiac will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something Lemont surely won't give up without a fight. Oak Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
