The Woodson Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the McKinley Tech Trainers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Woodson: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Trainers have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
Last Monday, Woodson suffered a tough 55-30 defeat at the hands of the Ramblers.
Meanwhile, McKinley Tech faced the Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. McKinley Tech took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Woodson has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for McKinley Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
Woodson took a serious blow against the Trainers in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 58-29. Thankfully for Woodson, Antwan Gross (who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
