The Jackson Generals were the 28-16 winner over the North Miami Beach Chargers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Jackson took a serious blow against North Miami Beach on Monday, falling 55-16. Jackson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Miami Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laila Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Henderson has scored at least 25% of North Miami Beach's points. Vanejia Bryant was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals.
Jackson now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Miami Beach, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Jackson will head out on the road to face off against Westland Hialeah at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Miami Beach, they will play host again and welcome Somerset Academy Central Miramar, where tip off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
