The St. Ursula Academy Arrows had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. Their rough 44-21 loss to Whitmer might stick with them for a while. St. Ursula Academy has not had much luck with Whitmer recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Mackenzie Royal-davis, who scored 17 points along with 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Shoup, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
St. Ursula Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Whitmer, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
St. Ursula Academy will head out on the road to face off against Northview at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Whitmer, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Napoleon at 7:15 p.m.
