Corinth's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Xae Mayes, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, and Braedyn Burress who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Cayden Harris was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Corinth, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
