The Ingleside Mustangs will face off against the Grulla Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Ingleside unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 42-14 loss at the hands of Sinton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ingleside in their matchups with Sinton: they've now lost five in a row.
Although Ingleside took the loss, they still got scores from Javier Solis iii and Jaydon Smith.
Meanwhile, Grulla was the victim of a rough 28-7 loss at the hands of Port Isabel two weeks ago. Grulla has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ingleside's loss dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Grulla, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-5.
