 Meanwhile, Columbus Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Thursday as they fell  49-45 to Fisher Catholic. The Vikings have struggled against the Irish recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Fredericktown has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season. As for Columbus Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
