Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buffalo). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Calhoun Red Devils 63-26. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bison with their most commanding win of the season.

Calhoun lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Charter Cottrell, who rushed for 106 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Brennen Carpenter, who rushed for 147 yards.

Buffalo now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Calhoun, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Buffalo will head out to face off against Braxton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Calhoun, they will head out on the road to square off against Clay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 808 yards in their previous games.
