Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buffalo). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Calhoun Red Devils 63-26. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Calhoun's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charter Cottrell, who rushed for 106 yards and one score on only 14 carries. The Red Devils also got a significant boost from Brennen Carpenter, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 147 yards.
Buffalo's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2. As for Calhoun, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
