The Wellington Dukes won the last time they faced the Black River Pirates, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Wellington escaped with a win against Black River by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wellington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooke Lehmkuhl, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Those 17 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Miller, who scored 11 points.
