 The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 26-28,  26-24.
 Christiansburg's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Blacksburg, they now  have a losing record of 9-10.
 Everything went Christiansburg's way against Blacksburg in their previous meeting  back in September, as Christiansburg made off with  a  3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Demons since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
