TEACH's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Norfolk Christian, falling 55-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points TEACH has scored all season.
Norfolk Christian found their leader in underclassman Landon Mcnamara, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Mcnamara continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Freeman, who scored six points along with ten assists and five rebounds.
TEACH dropped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Norfolk Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
TEACH will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Norfolk Christian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Norfolk Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Norfolk Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Norfolk Christian in Virginia (Norfolk Academy is ranked 104th, while Norfolk Christian is ranked 212th).
