Baseball Recap: Tahoka Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Tahoka never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Seagraves Eagles as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won six games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brogan Stone made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Stone was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tahoka got a massive performance out of Dante Garcia, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Garcia hit this season. Another player making a difference was Bek McCleskey, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Tahoka's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Seagraves, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Tahoka will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
