The Waukegan Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 61-34 defeat at the hands of New Trier. Waukegan has not had much luck with New Trier recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hadassah Brown , who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Aaliaya Cade, who scored nine points.
Waukegan's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for New Trier, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Waukegan will head out on the road to face off against Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Libertyville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Waukegan in Illinois (Libertyville is ranked 63rd, while Waukegan is ranked 441st). New Trier will be home for the holidays to greet Glenbrook South at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
