She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Maura Wilhelm was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Preslee Caouette was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Fairfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wawasee only posted a batting average of .056.
