The Royal Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Needville for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-17 win at home. The win was some much needed relief for Royal as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Royal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nevaeh Houston, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six steals. Houston hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Layla Anderson, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Royal's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Needville, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Wharton the next time they take the court. Needville will host Wharton at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, while Royal will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
