Rappahannock put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Westmoreland Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-20 victory. With the Raiders ahead 58-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Rappahannock had a senior duo take command as Kenneth Madison gained 232 total yards and five touchdowns and Cj Kelly threw for 165 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Madison was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 69 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Rappahannock proved: they limited Westmoreland to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The Raiders didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.4.

Rappahannock's record now sits at 3-0. As for Westmoreland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rappahannock will venture away from home to take on Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westmoreland, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Handley at 1:00 p.m. on the 27th.
