Ivan Flores was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Flores was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, San Manuel got a massive performance out of Tanner Decker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The Miners are 8-2 when Decker posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Taylor Decker, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
San Manuel kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Patagonia only managed one hit.
San Manuel's record is now 11-8. As for Patagonia, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
