William Penn added to the longest winning streak in Blue Hen Flight - A this week by beating Delcastle Vo-Tech, 28-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Newark fell to Concord 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Reggie Carroll provided a threat through the air and on the ground as William Penn defeated the Cougars. Carroll's key target this week was Frank Burton, who caught 2 passes for 59 yards.
Carroll was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 127 yards on 14 carries as Marvin Dooley's team topped Delcastle Vo-Tech. Teammate Martin Ayan added to the ground attack by rushing for 110 yards.
DuPont's Freddie Heard and Quadree Henderson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Heard has thrown for 1,102 yards this season, while Henderson has 31 catches for 851 yards. Carroll from the Colonials leads the league in rushing with 1,784 yards.
Glasgow made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,824 from 7,377. The improvement was the result of a 38-14 victory over the Tigers last week.
