Crestview scaled the state rankings by moving to 160 from 198 this week, the biggest jump in Northwest. The Knights climbed the ranks as a result of besting Bluffton 7-6.
Jefferson added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Allen East, 33-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Columbus Grove's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Riley Brubaker has thrown for 190 yards this season, while Mason Smith has 6 catches for 69 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jefferson takes on Lima Central Catholic. As it stands, Bub Lindeman's team is in first, while the Thunderbirds are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Wildcats take on Lima Central Catholic. Jefferson has allowed 23 points this season, while the Thunderbirds have given up 38.
Lima Central Catholic took down Columbus Grove 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
