River View won the last time they faced Montcalm and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Generals by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

While River View won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Mileigh Goodman paced River View's offense, picking up six kills. Goodman got some help from Madison LaForce and her six assists. Goodman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brooklyn Kennedy, racking up two apiece.

River View's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

River View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Man on the 28th. As for Montcalm, they will take on Greenbrier East in a tournament on Saturday.
