Eastern Alamance is 8-2 against Orange since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Alamance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Eastern Alamance was handed a 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Southern Alamance 11-10. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this game were averaging four runs allowed.

Brylea Warren was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Edie Stewart, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Orange came up short against Southern Alamance on Wednesday, falling 11-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.
Rhiley Crabtree was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
Eastern Alamance has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Eastern Alamance hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Orange struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Eastern Alamance took their victory against Orange in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
