Ellycia Shartzer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. Jerzie McCord was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Vincennes Lincoln now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.
