Mullen's tournament run continued when they took on Vista PEAK Prep  on Friday. The Mullen Mustangs took down the Vista PEAK Prep Bison 54-39. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Mustangs.
 Mullen can attribute much of their success to  Mason Bonner, who  went 7 for 11 en route to 17 points. The  contest was  Bonner's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ben Medina, who  went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points.
 Vista PEAK Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Mitchell Oliver, who  posted eight points.  Larry Mosley was another key player,  earning four points plus six  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Mullen now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Mullen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  67-48  loss against Ralston Valley on the 7th. Vista PEAK Prep has also  already played their next matchup,  a  71-63  defeat against Fossil Ridge on the 7th.
