Kecoughtan is 10-0 against Warwick since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Kecoughtan Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Warwick Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Kecoughtan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Warwick likes a good challenge.
Kecoughtan can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 85-31 win over Gloucester on the road. The victory was just what Kecoughtan needed coming off of a 90-66 defeat in their prior game.
Kecoughtan can attribute much of their success to Kevin Dryden, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Todd, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Warwick pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethel. Warwick has struggled against Bethel recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Kecoughtan's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Warwick, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Kecoughtan against Warwick when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 89-38 win. With Kecoughtan ahead 54-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
