Meanwhile, after soaring to 54 points the game before, Jackson were a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 35-6 loss at the hands of Edison. While losing is never fun, Jackson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 377th, while Edison is ranked 100th).
Miami has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Jackson, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
