The South Glens Falls Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Colonie Central Wolfpack at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
South Glens Falls gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Hudson Falls as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Ethan Ford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 16 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Narduzzo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameson DeLancey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Colonie Central came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Warriors 15-3. With that win, the Wolfpack brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Carter Epting was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Steven Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Colonie Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.2.
South Glens Falls' record is now 11-7. As for Colonie Central, their record now sits at 12-4.
South Glens Falls might still be hurting after the 8-2 loss they got from Colonie Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
