Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Has No Trouble Against Salam

Palmyra-Eagle not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Salam 3-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Salam, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Palmyra-Eagle took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-12.

Kaylee Lebanowski paced Palmyra-Eagle's offense, picking up six kills. Lebanowski got some help from Madeline Geppert and her ten assists. Lebanowski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Palmyra-Eagle and bumps their season record up to 11-14. As for Salam, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Palmyra-Eagle will square off against Hustisford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salam, after both having extra time off, they and Faith Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
