South Florence never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Crestwood Knights with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bruins have won seven matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Florence let Khalon McGee and Gabe McLaughlin run wild. McGee went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI, while McLaughlin went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That home run was McGee's first of the season. Christian Hickson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

South Florence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

South Florence has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Crestwood, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

South Florence will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
