The Clear Springs Chargers won the last time they faced the North Shore Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Clear Springs came out on top against North Shore by a score of 57-46. Given Clear Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while North Shore is ranked 443rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, North Shore still got an impressive performance from Deandre Jones, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Macias, who scored 9 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Clear Springs and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for North Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Springs' road trip will continue as they head out to face Cypress Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for North Shore, they will square off against South Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
