Landon's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Jackson-Reed on Tuesday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the St. Albans Bulldogs. Considering the Bears have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Manny Monsalve, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ben Pollack, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Landon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for St. Albans, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Landon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
