Baseball Recap: Hale Center Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hale Center had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ralls Jackrabbits by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-7 on Tuesday.

Fernando Pina made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Pina was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Hale Center let Bennie Ruiz and Cesar Pina run wild. Ruiz went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Pina went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Ruiz has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Hale Center was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher in four consecutive games.

Hale Center now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ralls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
