The Ralston Valley Mustangs stacked  an  eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding  69-25 win over Chatfield at home. The  win was familiar territory for Ralston Valley who now have five in a row.
 Leading Ralston Valley to victory were  Jarod Lovato and  Zeke Andrews.  Lovato  scored 19 points, while  Andrews  scored 14 points along with six  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Lovato has scored all season.  Caiden Braketa was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  assists.
 Defeat or not, Chatfield got some senior leadership from  Clayton Childs and  Colin Mote.  Childs  scored eight points along with two  blocks, while  Mote.  scored eight points along with two  blocks. It was the first time this season that  Childs  posted two or more  blocks.
 Chatfield  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only four  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ralston Valley  racked up 14  assists.
 Ralston Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record  this season. As for Chatfield, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with that  defeat, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
