The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will face off against the Sky View Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Crimson Cliffs extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lily Jones. The Mustangs came out on top against Hurricane by a score of 3-1 last Thursday for which the team can thank Jones, who had 14 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 25-16.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sky View walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bears on Thursday.
Sky View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.
Crimson Cliffs better focus on containing Brynn Spackman and Abby Thatcher as the pair were huge in Sky View's win. Spackman had 12 digs, while Thatcher had 19 digs and three assists.
Crimson Cliffs' win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Sky View, their victory bumped their record up to 16-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Crimson Cliffs has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Sky View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Crimson Cliffs was able to grind out a solid win over Sky View when the teams last played back in August of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
