The Iverson Classic announced the 25-player roster Tuesday for the ninth edition of the event. The showcase game will name a 26th player two days prior with the MVP of the 24K showcase filling the final spot.
The 24K Showcase, 3-point contest, dunk Contest and 1 vs. 1 tournament will take place at Bethel High School on May 1 with the All-American game contest to follow on May 3 at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va.
Team designations for the 26 players selected to the 2025 Iverson Classic roster will be announced at a later date.
Notes of Interest:
* Arkansas, Florida and Houston are the only schools with multiple representatives with two apiece while
Nate Ament of
Highland (Warrenton, Va.) is the only uncommitted prospect participating in the event.
* Ten players competing in the events are headed to play for SEC programs next season while five pare committed to ACC or Big 12 schools. Two players are on their way to the Big Ten and one participant is headed to the Big East and West Coast Conference.
