In what's become a running theme this season, the Dunnellon Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Lake Weir at home to the tune of 65-9. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Dunnellon has managed all season.
It was another big night for Tatiana Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 steals. Matthews is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Princess Hardin was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Dunnellon and bumps their season record up to 18-3. As for Lake Weir, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Dunnellon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Umatilla at 6:00 p.m. Lake Weir does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
