Westwood Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was James Hawley out in front who scored 16 points along with six assists and two steals. Hawley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Carson, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals.
Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Friday's match is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Liberty Christian Academy have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 40.6% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Westwood Baptist Academy struggles in that department as they've made 51.8% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
