This season hasn't been kind to the Digital Harbor Rams, who are still winless after their seventh match. They took a serious blow against Poly on Tuesday, falling 70-9. Digital Harbor has struggled against Poly recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Smothers, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smothers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Pope, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Digital Harbor dropped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Poly, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Digital Harbor will square off against North County at TBD on Friday. As for Poly, they will be playing at home against Carver Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Carver Vo-Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Poly is ranked tenth).
