Perhaps the best among those players was Zeb Whetton, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. Those 19 points gave Whetton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Makale Aytch, who posted 13 points.
Union has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Ben Lomond, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.
Union will look to defend their home court on Friday against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. Morgan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 games -- so hopefully Union likes a good challenge.
