Rock Bridge is a perfect 3-0 against Battle since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rock Bridge has three straight wins, Battle has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Rock Bridge barely beat Capital City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Considering Rock Bridge have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Battle fell victim to Smith-Cotton and their airtight defense last Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Battle have lost by exactly eight goals.

Rock Bridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Rock Bridge took their victory against Battle when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
