The team relied heavily on Alain Gomez, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-4. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Louis Busseri was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Saguaro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Saguaro pushed their record up to 9-6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cactus Shadows, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1-1.
