There's no place like home for Jefferson-Morgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Avella Eagles a 13-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Jefferson-Morgan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Avella, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson-Morgan will welcome Carmichaels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
