Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that BASIS Phoenix let down their fans at home.

BASIS Phoenix's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.
BASIS Phoenix does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Scottsdale Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
