Mingus was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Lee Williams Volunteers, falling  11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Volunteers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  8-7  last Tuesday.
 Mingus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Maddison Lusebrink, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
Mingus' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lee Williams,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-9.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mingus is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Flagstaff  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Lee Williams will  take on  rival Coconino  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
